What do you think of aliens? I think u mix in a little chaos sorc, 1 alien overlord (rank 6 action) some kagetokage, kaiser colessum then some of there, arctype traps and spells (brainwashing beam, code a acient ruins, a cell scatter burst, mysterious triangle, maybe planet pollutant virus) and just play super stun under kaiser with massive draw power (upstart and duality) then traps. Could it be a viable deck
I think Aliens have what it takes. They’ve got some really tricky backrow options. I worry that most of their monsters are non threatening though, so a solid S/T line-up is crucial.
Hey guys great work you almost made the boxers interesting, if it wasnt such a 1 dimensional deck I think you guys could have done it haha.
Kyle, how was finals week.
My question this week is, what is the most memorable deck making experience you guys have. For me it was right after gadgets came out, they had a ton of hype and there was a 30 person box tournament.
My example is that I made a deck that focused on giant rat, pyramid turtle to bring things like injection fairy lily(which i am surprised is completely unused right now) and Ryu Kokki out to do 6000 to 8000 damage in a single turn(at the time OTKs were pretty rare).
If my opponent ever had a green gadget and a yellow on the field at the same time I could summon giant rat, trade with green, summon turtle to trade with yellow and end with a direct 2400 attack, I also had things like 1 or 2 teched gigantes and creature swaps and cyber dragons to get a lot of surprise damage. Most of my games were me playing it conservatively trying to do 2000 damage or so, then once I got my opponent wittled down a little I just had to play safe until I had good answers for backrow.
I ended up winning the tournament only playing a single gadget player the entire time which wasnt until the very last match, I think I got god hands both games and won in 2 or 3 turns which I remember feeling kind of bad about because the other player was someone I looked up to.
Anyways guys I’m excited to hear your stories =D
Keep up the fantastic work, Binx
Thanks for the comment! We will discuss this on our Noble Knight episode since our Regional talk is already up.
However, Injection Fairy Lily is one of my favorite cards because it can be so lethal. Nice job winning that tournament with a creative deck too, that’s awesome.
