Great podcast guys, I’ve been listening since the first one! My question is where would you match up agents against the rest of the decks this format? And is there anything that could push them to be even more competitive? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for listening! I’m glad to see your comment!
I believe that Agents are too set-up oriented to be effective for this meta. You have HATrix, which is a really heavy control and anti-meta deck. It restricts Hyperion’s freedom to destroy things, and reduces Kristya to 2800 beater because HATrix runs so many traps on top of having good normal summon monsters. And with the prevelance of effect negating tools, any Earth or Venus play could be a dead end.
Agents aren’t completely innefective against Geargia, but they certainly aren’t as consistent. I think Game 1 would be up to luck, smart play, and backrow, while Game 2 and/or 3 would be decided almost entirely by the side deck.
I honestly can’t think of a deck I would want to face, as an Agent player, besides Lightsworns because their set-up time is about equal. Fire Fists, Mermail, Constellars, and Evilswarms would all be an uphill battle.
As for things that might help Agents? Ghostricks for their deck thinnig capability and Jiangshi (a LV 3). They would also become Chaos Agents at that point.
It could be that traps and a good player are all it takes for Agents, along with someone willing to experiment and test!
Calculus in my podcast? It’s more likely than you think.
Hey what I would like to see if you guys can is a monkey monkey versus Ojama versus Dustin deck to see who’s the best underdog dick on a budget.
This is an amazing podcast guys! I go on a walk every day for an hour with my dog and you’re podcast has helped entertain me for the last few months on them! I’ve got a question and something you might want to check out.
First off, what types of games do you like to play outside of yugioh? Fighting games, racing games, shooters? Any is there any specific ones you prefer above the rest?
Second, I’m a wannabe programmer who intends to spend the next four years in a programming course at Uni, but I’ve already got some projects under my belt. A while back I programmed a ‘TCG Deck Consistency Calculator’ which by using HyperGeometric Distribution (long complicated math). This allows a user to enter a deck profile and a simulated number of draws and will calculate the chances of drawing any particular card in that many draws. It also has no set values or limits, in other words, if you run three upstart, then you could ignore them and enter a 37 card deck. Or in lightsworn, you could enter lightsworn names as 12 instead of x3 for four different cards.
It’s still in alpha due to a lack of interest, but if you guys would like to check it out and spread the word that would be cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puP4RSR88Ws (sorry about the quality, just got a new laptop at the time and hadn’t set up my audio or capture software yet so I was using free and easily available programs).
What do you guys think, should I continue working on it and add new features or is this program redundant?
What are your guys thoughts on the herald of perfection deck along with the new synchro coming out for them in the future?

You may completely trash this deck if you want i.e. change anything you want or say it is bad – I will not take it amiss.
FYI regarding new cards, I probably won’t buy cards more than 60 dollars.
Ok here are a few questions
Justen: lets assume the cavs get kevin love, predict the 8 playoff teams in the east this season and tell me who will rep the east in the NBA finals, also who will they plag frlm the west? Last do u believe the NBA will be back in seattle within 5 years?
Kyle: Their seems to be alot of deabte over tier zero formats such as tela-dad and dragons vs formats like were in right now that have a deck pool of 20+ that you could see at a regional level event with some reliability, what format is better for the game and witch do you perfer?
Matt: Whats a good bang for your buck lap top? Also list your top-10 favorite movies and tell us why they hold a special place for you…
Bonus: if a car hits a wall goin at 50mph will it do more damage than if it were in a head on crash with another car also goin 50mph?
Pandaman do you mind if I try this out and make a couple changes
not at all!
plz post the deck list you get at the end
plz answer my comment at some point
Sorry for the delay, we did answer your question in the upcoming episode 139, which was recorded last week. Bear with us because the editing process takes time.
