Hey people,

So Turns out konami doesn't like to respond to emails, so here is a question:

If I have a TIMEGAZER MAGICIAN in one pendulum zone and a non-magician or Odd-eyes card
in my other pendulum zone, its scale becomes 4.

However PENDULUM SHIFT allows me to target 1 card in either player's Pendulum zone, declare a Pendulum scale from 1 to 10;
and this turn that card becomes that Pendulum Scale.

Will TIMEGAZER MAGICIAN's effect change its scale back to 4, ignoring the declared scale from PENDULUM SHIFT?

Also, If I declare a Pendulum Summon, do I need to declare the monsters to be summoned before I can activate PENDULUM SHIFT?
Or are the monsters declared upon resolution of the pendulum summon?

Also, What do you guys think about a Superheavy samurai/Artifact deck?

P.S. Fluffals Tier 1 soon... 😛

Here's the best I can offer for the Timegazer versus Pendulum Shift. I looked up some other effects that change ATK and DEF using the word "become" similar to both Pendulum Shift's and Timegazer's effect. Assuming Pendulum Scale manipulation works the same as ATK and DEF manipulation, then this is how it would work, it would simply change Timegazer to the declared scale until the end of the turn.

For the second question, declaring a Pendulum Summon isn't even a technical action in Yugioh because Pendulum summoning is inherent. So, you'll place all the monsters you wish to be pendulum summoned onto the board, you don't have to declare a pendulum summon and the opponent cannot chain to the "declaration" and neither can you. All the monsters will be on the field and the opponent can attempt to negate the summoning of the monsters after seeing which you're summoning.

Part 3: I mean I like Artifacts, but I don't know anything about how Superheavy Samurai work as a deck so I can't exactly make an opinion.

The idea of the deck is extra swords effect with conjunction of king of feral imps. Zombies are kinda slow in comparison and gadgets use the normal summon for themselves…..extra sword is usually the target

Is it consistent? High chance of dead hands? I really want to make buster blader meta because of all these blue eyes topping championships in the OCG, it’s really bad.

So far i’ve seen engines like Brilliant fusion, hieratics and all to get out tzolkin and in turn get your board protected with the big guys such as Crystal wing, hope harbringer and red archfiend dragon abyss. That’s 1 mechanic.

Another mechanic is using sage and mausoleum of white. That has dead hands too.

The lightsworn one is quite good because of its milling power but you can be quite sure you’re not really milling the right stuff sometimes, or that what you’re supposed to mill is in your hand (like wulf)

There’s this new card tho: Torque Tune Gear: Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 face-up monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. The equipped monster is treated as a Tuner monster, also it gains 500 ATK and DEF. (If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead.)

    Cheers
