A little different article this week about the use of the popular spell and trap destruction in competitive play, specifically Heavy Storm and Mystical Space Typhoon (MST). Card Review – Evoltile Odonto

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 “Evolsaur” monster from your hand.
- Summons 4 Monsters from Photon Shockwave
- Summons 2 Monsters From Order of Chaos
Overview:
Evoltile Odonto is a somewhat frustrating monster from the Evol Archetype that asks you to invest heavily onto the field. At present, with Photon Shockwave as the latest release, the climate is not quite temperate enough for starting a play with Odonto.
With 500 attack and 1200 defense, it is not a monster that anyone would want to summon or set without good reason. Hyper Librarian, free tuners and non-tuner monsters, and the Lightsworn Draw Engine to replenish the hand and graveyard.
It can summon each monster in the extra deck with ease, and can synchro out of most unfavorable situations. As explained in the video, one of this decks weaknesses is

New Ideas: Birdman & Armageddon Knight
I love coming up with new ideas. I’m always stirring up new combos and plays in my head, no matter how awful or amazing they are in action to try to find “the next big thing”. At the time being my gaze has been set on Dark monsters and the Synchro and XYZs monsters that go with them. One of my newest ideas involves running Genex Ally Birdman with Armageddon Knight because they pull of some pretty sweet combos together and I thought I might share my ideas.
