There’s always some fuss when banlist season comes around about Heavy Storm. Flurries of people think it needs to get banned while others think it’s necessary for the game. I sit in the needs to get banned category because I hold that this card is a huge problem. Read more to find out why and listen to me rant a little.
Here’s just a quick article that’s an off-shoot of my Volcanic deck profile. In that deck I’m maining a copy of the Transmigration Prophecy and over the past few weeks it has gone over and beyond my expectations as a powerful asset in the deck.
Ya, so no article this week, I’ve been busy and I’ll be gone all this week camping as well! I said so on the podcast, but it’s not up yet or I’d quote myself. Other than that, I thought this was an interesting bit of news; the person who got first at the Japanese Nationals ran Alive HERO. Pretty awesome! He (or maybe she? the Duelist’s name is Chami) will also be alongside there other representative “Chariot” running Offering Machina Gadget. Unfortunately, this week I didn’t have a whole lot of time to prepare any kind of article so for today I’ll just be sharing a little bit of what’s on my mind in the Yugioh world right now. A brief talk about my Regionals experience, some more Lightray Sorcerer randomness and whatever else floats my boat.
Replacing YIP will be an analysis of every new Yugioh product that will come out in the future. The move towards generalization was a conscious one, as I feel its a better approach to give people my opinion and information and let them draw their own conclusions when it comes to investment and such. That doesn’t mean I wont drop the occasional hint or two about potentially lucrative investment opportunities ;O.
We’re all getting ready here for the day. We’re all fairly curious what this Oregon regionals will be like.
Justen has decided to use his A Hero Lives Glads, Kyle is using Hero Beat, and I’m using Anti-Meta. We also have a Fabled Otk, Avian Ninjas, Dark World, Counter Fairies, and Dragons. So, a lot of variety here!
I had a lot of fun with the 10 favorite cards thing, so I thought, “why not just do the opposite?” So I decided to make an article about my ten least favorite cards. These aren’t exactly all bound by the same principles or any particular order as well. So ya, let’s get on with it.
YIP has been canceled this week due to lack of news/market changes. This is a very slow time for Yugioh, both market and gamewise. During these slow times I’m thinking about making YIP bi or once monthly, because there’s just not that much to talk about when nothing is happening >_>.
YIP will probably be on hiatus until GAOV sneak peek, where there will DEFINITELY be investments and prices to talk about. Till then!
I didn’t have any ideas for what to talk about this week, so I asked Matt and he said to just talk about general Yugioh stuff and that sounded kind of fun, so here I am. For the most part I wanted to talk about my feelings on the direction Yugioh is taking due to style of Konami’s banlist.
