(Sorry for not getting this up on Monday! I had school in the morning and went directly to work from there, I completely forgot to put up my article) I didn’t have anything in particular to post so I figured I’d do another deck profile. This is pretty much the deck I’ve been working on the majority of my time: Chaos HEROs. It’s loosely based on an OCG build using Chaos in HEROs with a lot of variation I’ve brought to make the deck as full of options as possible at all times. It exchanges the defensive nature of HERO beat for consistent OTK and control plays.
Deck Profile: Ninjas
There’s a lot of down time in Yugioh at the moment, no YCS’s no new things coming out until next year really. That to say I don’t have a whole lot to talk about this week. In lieu of that I bring you an update on a Ninja deck I’ve been working on. It’s not Chaos Dragon Ninjas, it’s not Dino Ninjas, it’s Ninja Ninjas! I’ll also take this opportunity to talk about some really cool cards that I’ve been testing in the deck in a similar fashion that I would if I where to give the individual card a “card review” spotlight.
Deck Profile – TG Agents
We’ve got Kyle’s current (Sept2012) build of his TG Agents deck.
If you’d like to see it in action, check out his match against Wind-Ups.
Deck Profile: Chaos Mash
Pretty busy week, just started school and I’m gearing up to go to the Philippines for 2 weeks at the beginning of October (so I wont be on the podcast then) so I’ve been a little busy. I figured then I’d just do something simple and give you a deck profile of a deck that I’ve been having a lot of fun with recently, which is my Monster Mash deck. For those who don’t know, Monster Mash is a deck variant that’s all monster cards to facilitate the use of two specific cards: Gallis the Star Beast and Witch of the Black Rose. I don’t run Witch though, because I think that card sucks. I’ll explain that later. The variant I’m running is rather original, I’m not focusing on the Gallis OTK nearly at all and I run some obscure tech choices and based the deck around one of my favorite cards: Genex Ally Triforce.
Deck Profile: Volcanic XYZ
‘Cause I said I would, here’s a profile of my Volcanic deck. The deck is also still in the testing phases so it’s not totally complete, keep that I mind. The deck is based around some quick rank 4 XYZ as well as the basic Volcanic business. If you don’t know about the basic Volcanic monsters and the effects I point your towards this link: [HERE] That’s a link to my old article about the basic Volcanic engine, so check it out.
Fun Gemini Deck
So, as I said on the Gemini Podcast, I might be posting up the fun Gemini Deck that I made while researching for the cast… well here it is is I guess. I had a lot of fun with this deck, but as a preface I’m pretty sure this deck wont be able to compete at competitive levels. (although I’ve never tested it there, so who knows right?) The deck explores some totally different playing styles than normal Yugioh and I felt it was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale format.
“Alive HERO”
Today is a far more direct article tan normal, I’ll just be responding to LegendaryChevralier’s comment on the recent Dragon Podcast:
Also can you give me some more infomation on that “alive hero” deck you were talking about? It seems really interesting and surprisingly similar to what I’ve been contemplating.
I’ll just be giving a little insight into the deck from my perspective as well as a pretty standard (as far as I know) decklist for the deck in Japan at the time being.
