   Hey, I really enjoy your podcast, I listen every week right when they come out. One thing I will humorously try to defend is Helios The Primal Sun. He is virtually unplayable your eyes, as he has 0 attack and defence, and is an open minus in the hand. Here we go… I run a Macro Cosmos Chaos Sorcerer deck. How does that even work you say? Well, the entire deck is half dark and half light, with tribute monsters like Caius at 3 and light monsters like Marshmallon and D.D. Warrior lady, Cyber Valley, Dimensional Alchemist, and Thunder Kind Rai Oh. With cards like Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos, I found it very common for them to get blown up by heavy resistance, so me having a graveyard was common. Also, I do not need to activate D-Fissure or Macro Cosmos if I open with D.D. Crow and a light monster with chaos sorcerer. So the deck works just fine. Where does that Helios the Primal Sun come in? Well, Macro Cosmos has that effect to special summon him from the deck for free. This effect is chainable, and Helios is always treated as a token anyway, so there you go, thining the deck by one, and getting some tribute bait for Caius! Did I mention Helios The Primal sun is light? Chaos Sorcerer food. I commonly have an easier time getting dark monsters to my grave, so now with an extra light, he is not so dead in my hand any more is he? Absorbing one attack, and allowing Chaos to take down the attacker next turn. Or how about the Macro Cosmos special summon Helios, Remove both with Cyber Valley play? That’s a +1. Being a 4 star makes him better than regular tokens, as I can sync for 7 with gale with ease, and plus the field. Helios The Primal Sun is also the best discard target for D.D.R., which can bring back more draw power or attacking potential. Helios The Primal Sun is not the best card in the game.
