This card is pretty random, but at the same time really awesome. Who doesn’t want to run a Cloudian monster legitimately? I’ve spoken briefly on him before but he’s got a couple specific tricks up his sleeve that may give him an edge. I thought it’d be a rather interesting venture to look a little further into this card, even though it may be a fairly short venture.

The discussion of Watt strategies is the feature topic today, Kyle, Justen, and Matt also answer some listener questions and comments.
When I looked at the new Return of the Duelist pack, I was kind of looking for something that no one else noticed because I always think it’s funner to use the “bad” deck that no one cares about and do lots of cool things with it. Chronomalys are first off, really ugly, and secondly not so straight forward on their goals; so I figured everyone would pretty much steer clear of them and for the most part I was right. The stage was set for me to take a closer look.
I hope you have been enjoying your summers and summer breaks. It’s been a really big summer for yugioh, and for the Ycgpodcast crew as well. Somehow, during this tIme of relaxation, Justen, Kyle and I have taken on more responsibilities in our daily lives that have kept us from gettin together regularly and putting on this show. The podcast consistency suffered as a result.
Really quick article for this week, I kind of had to scrounge it up at the last minute. This last week was finals and the day after finals was PAX, which was three days and now it’s Monday as I type. So, I made a deck for the traditional tournament, which was fun but decidedly underwhelming, and I figured that before I demolish the deck forever I can show it off a little. Look at you own risk, the deck is stupid broken and no fun to play against.

Since the banlist is out and all, I figured a good way to start that off would be to talk about the new limiting of Tsukuyomi. A card that has been banned for what seems like forever. In all honesty, this card should probably have been brought back ages ago because it is incredibly weak and outclassed in many ways by cards that already exist.

There’s always some fuss when banlist season comes around about Heavy Storm. Flurries of people think it needs to get banned while others think it’s necessary for the game. I sit in the needs to get banned category because I hold that this card is a huge problem. Read more to find out why and listen to me rant a little.
