Hey guys I really love how you guys are progressing in your podcasts, its very obvious that all of you have significantly more knowledge than when you began and this is an awesome way for people to learn how decks work or get advice if they are going to start a deck.
I’m wondering what kinds of cards you guys think they would have to make to have Dark Magician decks be playable. Or even other archtype specific cards you would like.
Also you guys might want to consider doing a vampire or madolche podcast since they are both getting support soon and are relatively popular decks.
Thank You for noticing!
I think this question deserves more attention, because I’ve like Dark Magician forever, they just have never done him justice. I feel like a card that allows Dark Magican to gain advantage against the opponent would be the way to go. Right now, DM is a lot of waiting around for it to get on the field, and then you don’t do much when it’s there. DM should be the icing on the cake.
A weak monster that negates a spell once while it’s on the field, tributes itself, then summons a DM would be something I would consider.
Or a monster that requires 3 Spell Counters to summon and facilitates “Dark Magic” cards in some way. Anyways, I’ll see what the others come up with on the podcast if they don’t reply here first.

Vamps and Madolche’s are going to both need to be done, you’re right. I’ll bring it up with everyone and see what they think. Vamps would be interesting, I haven’t spent any time with them.
A monster that requires three spell counters to summon Dark Magician… Doesn’t that already exist?
I was saying a monster that requires 3 Spell Counters to Summon (when compared to Endymion’s 6). But that also accelerates “Dark Magic” cards.
I don’t favor Spell Counters, but they could still use them and I would be fine. The only cards I can think of that this new monster could touch are Skilled Dark Magician (the card you were thinking of), DM himself, and DM-Curtain.
But are they Archetype worthy? I don’t know.
Hey guys: question, if you could take 3 cards off the ban list (1 monster 1 spell and 1 trap) and limit them to 1, no 3 wind-up carrier justen lol. what would they be? why would u choose them? and finally what would you do with them?
I will have to answer this question on the podcast because I need some serious time to think. All of those cards are either fun or frustrating for me, or boring (Sinister Serpent). So I will have to think!
I would take off Number 16: Shockmaster because it is kinda hard to summon and there are negate effects that people use often (not Morhing Jar #2 as that is a Shadoll hell). Then either Monster Reborn or Foolish Burial, MR because why not? FB because not many effects are that OP in the graveyard. And finally Vanity’s Emptiness because running 3 MSTs is common for so many people

Hey guys I run bujins and the image you guys use would look really cool on a custom playmat, could I use it to make one? or could you tell me the artists name so I can ask them?
You certainly can, yeah, and thanks for asking! I happen to make all of our Podcast Banners, for future reference :D.
